Surprise is coming from Honda's direction with the new engine iserted inside the Civic Type-R in the Paris Motor Show 2012 next September.

Honda is planning to renew their line-ups by presenting the Civic Type R as the latest compact. It will make its first debut in the Paris Motor Show by late September to the first days of October 2012.

British media, Autocar reported that the Civic Type R which will be introduced in that event will also show a similar vehicle concept which will also be displayed in the Geneva Motor Show 2013 in the coming March 2013. Honda hopes that this new line-up that will make its entrance into the European market can sit in the commanding position during 2014 later.

There haven't any leaks yet about this car's detail info, including its price and engine specification. Prior to this one, the last version of Type-R has 4-cylinder with 2.000 cc that could produce power up to 200hp. However, there is a rumour states that the engine of this latest version of R has to be revised due to failing the European emission test.

Speculations have been growing outside the New Honda Civic Type R, saying that it will bear a smaller engine with no turbocharged characteristic so it can suppress the CO2 gas emission. Though this engine is able to generate the same level of power but the turbocharged intake seemed to have better torque compared to the previous version which "jus" 192.6 Nm.
