This new Aston Martin unit will be different than the DBS or DB9.
Next
year, this British automaker founded by Lionel Martin and Robert
Bamford turns 100. As the mark of their century existence in the
automotive industry, Aston Martin plans to make a breakthrough by
launching a new product that is unlike their other creations.
Will it look like this one that is shown by MotorAuthority.com? Unlike many people have predicted, this unit is completely and utterly new, not some elevation from the current Aston Martin line-up such as the DBS or DB9. Aston Martin boss, Ulrich Bezz, has already confirmed the news.
This new model will depend on a V12 power generator with 6.000cc capacity. It is most likely that Aston Martin will use the 7-speed Sportshift II automatic transmission or the 6-speed manual one. Such configuration is meant to make the 2013 Aston Martin able to churn 550 hp.
