Porsche Asia Pacific closes the first semester of 2012 with sales as big as 2.238 units.
Even though it's just only halfway through but the Stuttgart based automaker, Porsche, shows its optimism in facing this year. This is proven by their track record in sales that already reached 2.238 units, increased as much as 11% by the first semester in 2012.

Christer Ekberg, Managing Director Porsche Asia Pacific said that this positive result can only be possible by introducing the 7th generation of Porsche 911 and the high demand on Cayenne and Panamera.

Through the press release received by Carmall.com, sales record of this911 7th generation increased as much as 60% if compared to the same period last year, with total sales only reached 329 units. Porsche is also delighted with Cayenne which scored massive sales of 1.291 units (up by 17%) and as for the Panamera, Porsche have 530 units delivered to their customers.

Though those feats were not followed by Boxster and Cayman, those two are down by 44% this time but Porsche remains positive with the latest Boxster model which already been launched several times ago, including in Indonesia.

"The new Boxster will arrive by the middle of this year in our region and seeing the positive responds given by the market we are quite confident with it. The media and customers also give a positive feedback especially regarding its design and even said that the new Boxster is like a kid brother to the Carrera GT. We are certain that this new Boxster will provide a great deal of contribution for Porsche's success in this year", adds Christer.
